I just love when my former newborn clients return for milestone sessions and when Ava’s mom told me she was looking for an image for her first birthday invitation I was super excited to get the chance to work with her again! No longer that tiny little newborn, Ava was an adorable little *almost* one year ago who wanted to put anything she could in her mouth, including the long pearls we had her wearing (gotta love that teething age!) With her gorgeous blue eyes and fine blond hair, Ava was such a sweetheart for her session!

Like many of my clients, sweet Sloane’s parents were sent to me via a client of mine. My business is built on referrals and I am so thankful when my clients suggest me to their friends and family. When Sloane and her parents walked into the studio I was completely taken back by how gorgeous this sweet little baby was. Her dark hair and long lashes were so cute and she had the most adorable little lips. She allowed me to pose her with ease but especially loved being snuggled up in a soft wrap. What a fun session!!

I first met adorable Cameron and his family at his newborn session and at that session he was a total dream! His adorable hair, lips and dimple, along with his sweet demeanor, just won me over. Flash forward now to his 6 month session and not only did he still have that awesome hair, lips dimple, and personality but add in some dreamy bright blue eyes and cute front teeth. Oh my goodness, I seriously was just in LOVE with his session. His sweet sisters tagged along as well so we were able to capture and updated sibling image for his parents as well.

You all, I LOVE sitter sessions. For some kiddos, like Cameron, it can occur around 6 months but for some it is closer to 7 or 8 months (or for some early babies even later.) I have a closet full of adorable sitter outfits for boys and girls, like the cute denim romper that Cameron is sporting below. I just love sweet and simple outfits that focus on the baby!

A few years ago, this adorable little cutie came into my studio for her newborn images. Now she is a big sister and close to turning three years old. The session below was for both her 2 year session (yep, I am almost a year behind in blogging) and for her parents to announce their pregnancy with number two (moms maternity session and baby brothers newborn session blogs are coming soon…)
Two years old is such a fun and crazy age. Their second year development happens so fast and all of a sudden you no longer have a baby but a walking, talking little person. Chizara here was a big fan of the baby shark song, which I’m sure many parents sing in their sleep!

In my line of work I have had the chance to photograph a lot of babies. In their short lives though, some babies have more eventful lives than others and Max is one of those. Prior to his being born, his mom bid on and won a session that I had donated for the Style of Hope Benefit. His momma likely thought it would be used on Max’s newborn session. However, born early weighing only 1 lb 9 oz “miracle max” had to fight for every minute, hour and day of his sweet life. Three months of care from the neonatal intensive care unit staff and little Max was ready to go home on oxygen and a heart monitor. After his discharge from the hospital his mom and I decided that his session would best be done as a milestone session and I cannot tell you how glad I was that we waited. This little guy was the sweetest boy and full of adorable smiles. His bright blue eyes and fine blond hair were just the cutest!
