Just a few short years ago I was at my old studio capturing newborn and then 1 year images of Briar’s big brother Barrett. Time goes by so fast and I feel like I was just at the hospital capturing images of Barrett meeting newborn Briar and now here we are with her 1 year images. This little cutie was not a fan of the new shoes her mom bought her, but did love trying to explore the studio. Such an adorable little girl and an awesome family!
I have had the opportunity to photograph both sweet Ella and her big sister for both their newborn and one year sessions and these blue-eyed cuties never disappoint. While her big sister Madeline was a bigger fan of her cake than she was, Ella provided lots of adorable smiles.
I love being able to photograph 1-year sessions too. One-year-olds are so curious, want to explore the world around them and always provide a variety of expressions.
About a year ago, I had a crazy idea. I wanted to thank all of my currently and former clients for their continued support of my photography business. Whether I took their babies pictures 8 years ago when I was first started out or I just did their newborn session a couple weeks ago, I have always valued the relationship I have with my clients.
After opening an exclusive facebook group solely for my clients, I invited them to come to my new studio for some FREE Christmas mini-sessions. You guys…it was AMAZING! It was crazy, busy and well…a little overwhelming at times but I LOVED it!
I loved working with kids and families of all ages and it solidified the fact that I wanted to work with more than just the babies I have been photographing the past several years.
While I don’t think I could offer something like this completely complimentary again (I literally put in lots of money and time into this) I think that I may be offering some exclusive opportunities for sessions like these in the future 🙂
One of things I love about my photography business is getting the opportunity to work with other business owners. Anyone who has been in my studio also knows that I *may* have a bit of an addiction to buying adorable props for babies, including SUPER-cute rompers and headbands like the ones sweet Eloise are sporting below. The vendor of these adorable rompers is one of my favorites and I’m pretty sure my credit card has been maxed out in her etsy store, lol!
But seriously, I love making it easy for my parents as they are preparing for their milestone sessions by offering them use of my extensive collection of outfits for boys and girls in various sizes. All they need to worry about if bringing me their sweet baby! Not only does this help my clients, but I love knowing that I have clothing that will allow the child to shine and be the focus of the images
