I’m at the hospital waiting on a baby to be born so I thought I would take this opportunity to catch up on blogging.  To my chagrin, I am a year behind again (sigh) but my priority has always been getting client galleries and facebook sneak peeks done in a timely fashion so blogging often goes to the wayside.

Prior to the past year, I had limited my sessions to babies, bellies and births for several years. I did however make exceptions for some of my clients who had been with me since the beginning of my business eight years ago.  The sweet girl below is one of those kids.  Audrey’s parents were my very first maternity clients and it’s so surreal to see that she turned 8 years old this year.  I have been able to capture her yearly portraits and it is always so fun.  Her bright blue eyes always light up and she is always the sweetest.  These images are from her 7 year portrait session and we had so much fun.  I love how her mom tries to incorporate an “interest” at their current age into their sessions.  For Audrey, it was reading and dinosaurs.
